Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), also known as tapping, is a method used to manage emotions connected to past events or current issues. Although it is a relatively new technique, growing research supports its effectiveness, and it has been clinically tested and shown to be evidence-based.

EFT is designed to help individuals release emotional blockages and reduce stress or anxiety by addressing the emotional aspects that contribute to physical or mental discomfort. The technique aims to promote emotional healing and balance by stimulating energy points on the body, which is based on the concept of energy meridians in Traditional Chinese Medicine.
